Referring Physicians

Diagnostic imaging provides referring physicians with information and insight needed to diagnose a particular condition or help maintain a patient's optimal health. The mission of CMI is to provide the most accurate, timely, and quality diagnostic information available.

Ease of Referral and Scheduling

When a physician refers a patient to CMI, our caring approach and imaging expertise ensure that each patient's experience will exceed their expectations. Our knowledgeable schedulers are ready to assist in scheduling patients.

In addition, busy offices are encouraged to take advantage of our Express Fax service – our schedulers take care of contacting your patient to schedule the appointment and send confirmation to your office.

For added convenience, patients requiring standard X-Rays may be seen on a walk-in basis.

Insurance Authorizations

A dedicated team of pre-certification specialists at Florida Hospital Waterman is available to obtain insurance authorizations for referring physician offices.

Information Access

Advanced voice recognition technology is utilized to increase the timeliness of reports. Reports signed by the Radiologists are distributed automatically according to physicians' preferences. In addition, physicians on staff at Florida Hospital Waterman have full access to images and reports via the internet.
